Functions

• To prepare lists of officers having doubtful integrity and keep databse of the entire complaints/court cases/vigilance enquiries concerned.
• To monitor progress with regard to grant of prosecution sanction in the cases referred to this department (Pungrain)
• To refer serious cases of corruption to the vigilance department for investigation with a copy to Vigilance Bureau for necessary follow-up.
• To provide timely information sought by Vigilance Bureau (V.B.) from this department concerning vigilance issues.
